Ionic baths are attracting increasing interest in the field of integrative care. But how effective are they? An observational study conducted by the Resonance Wellness Centre has provided valuable data on the effects of this technology on patients suffering from serious chronic pathologies, in particular Lyme disease and its co-infections.
Objective: to support organisations in chronic distress
Faced with the failure of numerous conventional therapies to relieve certain patients, researchers Lisa Tiedt (microscopist) and Dr Michelle Perro (paediatrician) incorporated the AMD ionic footbath into a five-week follow-up protocol. Five participants, suffering from Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, mould toxicity or mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), received 10 30-minute footbaths.
A simple, non-invasive method… with stunning results
The principle is simple: the feet are immersed in warm, slightly salty water, through which a current flows that generates positive and negative ions. These ions encourage the elimination of toxins through the feet and stimulate the body’s natural detoxification processes.
From the very first session, the study observed a 25-300% increase in plasma metabolic waste. After 10 sessions, the reduction in metabolic waste ranged from 33% to 383%, depending on the profile.
Effects visible even in the blood
Using dark-field microscopy (Live Blood Analysis), the researchers were able to visualise changes in the blood before and after the baths. Results:
Less coagulation of red blood cells
Reduction in symplasts (toxic waste)
Reduction in biofilms (protective barriers against pathogens)
Less extracellular inflammation
These changes suggest an improvement in blood circulation, cellular oxygenation and overall health.
An invaluable aid for sensitive terrain
Particularly well tolerated, this method proved beneficial even in so-called “sensitive” profiles such as children or people with MCAS, whose tolerance to treatment improved after the baths.
The study also mentions a case of chronic plantar wart that began to heal after the footbath + DMSO ointment combination. This suggests the possibility of new complementary therapeutic approaches.
A gentle… but powerful solution
The study concludes on an encouraging note: 4 out of 5 participants showed significant clinical improvement, both in biological results and in their subjective feelings. The team recommends future research on populations such as children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), PANS/PANDAS or heavy metal toxicity.
What about you? Does your body need to free itself of toxic substances?
The AMD ionic bath (IonCleanse®) does not claim to cure everything, but it does offer real support to overburdened organisms. Easy to administer, non-invasive and soothing, it could become an invaluable ally in many wellness programmes.
