People who don’t understand the IonCleanse by AMD technology often assume that it’s not credible because the water changes colour without having any feet in it. With many brands spreading misinformation about the colour change, we think it’s time to set the record straight.
Why does water change without feet?
There are a few things to bear in mind. During a foot bath, the network interacts not only with the feet, but also with the contaminants and salts present in the water. Ions don’t play favourites; they neutralise charged particles in the water and toxins in the body.
The colour change in a legless bath is due to interaction with the water and debris from the stainless steel plates which degrade during the ionisation process. The colour change is NOT synonymous with detoxification. When people doubt footbaths because of the colour change, we tell them they’re right! Not all detox footbaths are created equal, and it’s really important to know what sets IonCleanse by AMD apart from the competition.
Although there are many, the most significant differences to note in this context are as follows: AMD’s IonCleanse generates negative and positive ions.
Ions act like little magnets in water. If you only have negative ions, you’re not treating negatively charged toxicity. The IonCleanse by AMD provides a clean, filtered stream to the water. This is an extremely important part of the equation, as it helps your body rest and digest so it can detoxify. It’s also the reason why the body continues to detoxify for three to five days after the session.
AMD IonCleanse complies with safety standards relating to electromagnetic fields and conducted emissions.
What do the colours of the water mean?
The original colour chart was developed by AMD in the early 80s of this century. The colours were correlated with detoxification through biofeedback testing. Clients used the footbath while being tested with a bio-meridian system. When certain meridians fluctuated, the corresponding colours were invariably present in the water. This was a strict correlation that seemed to have merit when confirmed by applied kinesiology or muscle testing. However, colour charts circulating online have taken liberties that AMD believes have damaged the industry with their often incredibly outlandish claims.
Neill Moroney, President of AMD, has been working on footbaths since 2002, when his father founded the company. He states:
“Having administered several thousand IonCleanse by AMD sessions over more than 18 years, I think there is a lot to learn from water colours. I have seen the results of several controlled tests that show biological material in the water that was not present prior to cleaning. Unfortunately, water analysis done properly is much more expensive than any other research we can currently carry out. As we gain the confidence of health professionals, I think we’ll be able to carry out more tests on water to demonstrate its importance as part of the overall detoxification process. That said, our current research focuses on changes in the body, using scientifically validated before and after measures of patient health and wellbeing.”
If detox isn’t just in the water… where is it?
People can and do detoxify in water, but our most recent research focuses on the detoxification that occurs after cleaning. Because the IonCleanse by AMD delivers a clean, filtered stream, it helps boost your body’s ability to detoxify. Don’t just take our word for it. Check out the research on increased excretion of glyphosate or the study showing increased excretion of heavy metals in urine after using IonCleanse by AMD.
IonCleanse by AMD is an invaluable tool because it increases your body’s ability to detoxify on its own; your body does what it’s supposed to do, only better.
We firmly believe that in our toxic world, the AMD IonCleanse is a tool that everyone should use. That’s one of the reasons we’re so passionate about bringing the IonCleanse detox footbath into every home. Are you ready to start your detox?
