Our company was founded in 2002 by Dr Bob Moroney. Bob pioneered research into footbath technology in the United States in 1999. After a few years using basic models, he used what he had learned to design the IonCleanse® by AMD system with its patented dual-polarity electrode, the best that technology could offer. His interest in health and detoxification, born of a life-threatening health crisis in 1982, led him to seek out the best that alternative medicine had to offer. He found his calling by discovering ionic footbaths and developing the IonCleanse unit. Over time, the mission became clear to him, summed up in our slogan “detoxifying the planet two feet at a time”® Since its inception, AMD has sold over 15,000 ionic footbath units. Its continued success makes IonCleanse by AMD number 1 on the market. All our products, including the IonCleanse Premier® and Solo® units, are made in the USA. Our engineers have over 100 years of combined experience. Likewise, every IonCleanse by AMD is hand-assembled and subjected to rigorous quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction.
