AMD is passionate about alternative healthcare and, in particular, detoxification. We’re also passionate about the environment. While we encourage people to stay clean indoors, we believe that we must all contribute to a clean environment on this planet. AMD strives to do its part by recycling all appropriate materials, using recyclable and non-hazardous packaging materials, and promoting non-toxic and biodegradable cleaning products.

Recycling

Since the beginning of 2007, AMD has been renting a three-meter recycling skip for itself and the business buildings surrounding the area. The skip is emptied twice a week and is always full before collection. Thanks to this dumpster, we can recycle all cardboard, mixed office paper, glass and even most plastic containers. Apart from the ionic footbaths we receive in exchange, there’s not much left to landfill, and even the units we take back are scrapped for parts and broken down into recyclable components.

We strive to have as little negative impact on the environment as possible, and we believe that recycling and offering our neighbors the opportunity to recycle is an excellent demonstration of this commitment.

Packaging materials

Packaging and shipping materials represent a costly expense for AMD every month. We ship hundreds, if not thousands, of packages every month to customers all over the world. We buy boxes made from post-consumer materials and have recently found ways to reduce box size. We use biodegradable peanuts (made from corn) rather than petroleum-based polystyrene peanuts, which can take hundreds or even thousands of years to biodegrade. What’s more, peanuts made from corn replace 80% of our need for traditional bubble wrap (also made from petroleum-based plastics). Although biodegradable peanuts are more expensive, we feel obliged to use this method of packaging to help preserve the environment.

Philosophy

AMD is at the service of mankind, which includes protecting the environment. We are prepared to absorb the additional costs of doing business in a way that reflects our values.
